no thanks ! I'll go for ALPA large format vith digiback adapter ! :D
shouldn't cost more than a cheap house :D

10x8 with a scanning digiback please :) I'm not greedy though, wouldn't need to be more than about 30mp

Only EUR 5.770,00 eh, I suppose poverty must be relative then...
44 x 33 mm sensor, 31.6 Mpix, Kodak KAF31600CE CCD.
I'll have to see if Father Xmas is in a good mood this year!

Yeah absolutely! Perfect for what I want to do as well, just **** me its a lot of money lol

size is the king, that's why I'll just sell my canon and use film MF ;)
because I don't need 3gazilion shots. one well planned , well exposed is enough . people snap too much and care less about the actual picture thinking that 1000shots in half an hour will solve everything. in fact - I'll save up for a good mamiya 645 afdII or so to shoot street candids as well :p

It really depends what its needed for, it shoot portraiture and commercial stuff. For commercial and adult portraits, I can usually pose everything and limit the amount of shots I take, but when it comes to crazy kids, its some times a numbers game, so the fps rate of a 35mm or cropped dslr wins.

If I could justify a Hasselblad H4D-31 or better, I'd get one, but if I'm honest with myself, for what I shoot right now I just don't need one lol

I can dream.....

That is really cheap for a digital back to be fair

Now come on boys. We all know its not what you've got but how you use it, right?:D

I have an MF camera somewhere, maybe in the loft, some Russian TLR that cost £25, took great pictures tho!

Well, after attending a master class one my friends tried to acheive results which would be close to photos made by a tutor who was using an MF system with a digital back (Sinar) during classes. So back at home my friend used exactly the same Broncolor lighting set up the only one difference was that his camera was FX. In simple words he spent several hours in taking photos and several hours in photosop but he still couldn't get close to photos taken with a digital back.

So my personal opinion is of course its all about your skills and vision but your choice of a gear is equally important in order to acheive good results.;)

if you have s%%t loads of money - go for it ! otherwise - any camera can do. it's all about the story anyway.
