Thank you for all the kind comments everyone. I did manage to get a couple of shots of the Blackcap later on, just not perched on the branch like I wanted...he was either hidden in the bush or on the pear, never in between. This was shot through double glazing as well, because he wouldn't show up if I was outside, even when under cover.
