After the Storm at Godrevy, Cornwall

Great shots, I do like the way the headland is lit up by the sun in the second. I wonder if cropping it across the top to remove the blue sky top right would increase the drama?
 
#2 for me as well, although to my eyes it looks more like the street/house lights than sunlight hitting the town. I tried the old paper crop to see if Mark's suggestion helped it and IMO it doesn't, as it's posted, the base of the clouds sits nicely on a third line and the patch of blue sky hints at better weather to come.
 
This doesn't really belong in *Talk* Landscapes. I've suggested the mods move it.
 
Prefer one myself with the lighthouse.
