That is one the nicest things that has been said to me Nathan - and also one that makes me feel rather guilty. I will try to, I promise!

Thanks for the kind comments guys, I know I was very lucky being there. I waited in a cafe for over an hour until the sun descended a little and am so pleased that the home return spring wasn't strong that day. :)

Love the composition in the first with the placement of the mountains and the colours are fantastic in the second.

First one is a classic, from a classic view, lot's to like here :)

Second doesn't work so well, great tones/colours but that big empty space on the right leaves the balance skewed, if there was one more fishing boat towards the bottom right, then it would work.
