I'm looking to upgrade my body in the near future and am keeping my eye on the classifieds in case a good used deal comes up.
One thing that does concern me however is warranty issues, both from the perspective of expired ones on kit over a year old and also newer kit where the original receipt isn't available for proof of purchase.
Does anyone know what the deal is with aftermarket warranties as I'd potentially be interested in this and would like to factor the additional cost into any decision I end up making. Can you get an aftermarket warranty which would cover much the same type of breakdowns as the original Canon one and what would I be looking to pay for such a warranty on a 7D?
