This little chap posed for me as I walked past. The sky is a bit washed out but I was afraid to move in case I scared him away. Any comments?

May be my dodgy eyesight but looks as if the focus is towards the back end rather than the face ?
 
Hi Doc, I think you are right - thank for commenting. The squirrel appeared as I was laden with shopping which I had to pass to Mrs mmm. The squirrel allowed me four hand held shots before moving off. I do tend to point the camera at the centre of the body to frame the shot when I should go for the face then crop.
 
You missed focus on the eye by a whisker, but still a very nice shot. Pure nature.
 
always aim to focus on the eyes not easy with squirrels as the dart of so quick good capture for a spur of the moment shot
