Age old question - Which Tripod?

Sorry all, i suspect this question has been asked many times, but i'm struggling a little to decide what tripod to buy.

I'm still a beginner, and I would say my range is £0-£150max at this moment in time.

My style - landscapes/nature/anything - I don't have a fixed style yet as I am still learning.

Can anyone recommend anything within this range? I scoured the forums for a few different recommendations but was left with about 20 different ones mentioned, and i'm still non the wiser. I want it to be light weight ish, but that isn't absolutely critical, but it would be nice for an all range tripod, that will let me go outdoors for landscape and nature, but still perhaps use indoor for portrait, or low down for macro, if there is such a tripod.

Any advice will be appreciated, I have borrowed my mates manfrotto 190 x pro b which I liked, a little heavy but nothing of a show stopper. The issue is, I can't really find many out there for sale, and they all have lots of different heads..

Also, I don't mind second hand if needs be, not fussed.

You're unlikely to go wrong with any of the twenty recommended options you've already found on the forum.. ..

(for what it's worth, the 190X-ProB is as good as any other general purpose tripod, I use mine regularly - but is not my only tripod)
 
I have a Red Snapper for general work. They're great work horses for the money.
 
Another vote for Red Snapper. I use an RSF 324 tripod with a RSH 24 head; the biggest lens I have is a 55-300mm and I also use the tripod and head for a spotting scope, so this combination works well. Not the lightest - probably about 2.5kg, but very stable.

Another vote for the Redsnapper, I got the RSF284M and rsh61 for Christmas and am very impressed with the build. Also one of the legs can be removed and used as a monopod, so 2 in 1for £90. Weight wise it comes in just under 1900g including the head, 1600g without.

Thanks for the info, any limitations, that you wish it could improve on if you were to upgrade now?
