So after a little break from shooting music and clothing lines etc i managed to get booked up short notice for tonight.......Great stuff!!!
But.

Work had me stay late to finish a project off...Then i hit traffic.... Then my car warning lights come on and starts chugging along to the road.....

I finally get to the location where the shoot was to be held... get a call.. 'Running abit late will be with you in 10 mins' .... not a problem.

I turn to my right and suddenly see police turn up with about 5 riot vans...they were doing a raid on a warehouse next to me and told me i had to leave...

Rang client, said to move to another location....met them there, set up and what happens?!

NO MEMORY CARD!!!!!


To say im wound up about myself is an understatement!:bonk::razz:
 
**** the bed lol. Sounds like a rough day mate :p Couch and coffee needed fast! lol
 
I have some serious torrettes* at the moment!

Think i will have grovel on this one big time as the clients looked a little annoyed and stumped!

Will be on the phone first thing to organise a reshoot for Thursday and hopefully they will bring the same models! ;o)
 
"Oh what a night, late Septe..." oh damn it's August. Had some great lyrics coming along there too... Memory cards, police, working late, dodgy car, all it needs is a love angle....

I am very sure you're not the first and even more sure you won't be the last!

I've done it and it's the reason I keep spare cards in each of my bags and in the cars too.
 
hmmm, that was a tad silly................ though been there done that (only me taking pics for pleasure though, no client, nothing like that!!!)

fortunately the grip has space for a spare memory card, and is always on the camera (except for battery changes) so where-ever I go, I am guaranteed 8Gb of memory - now......

Top tip about cars etc etc though............. especially with SD cards being so reasonable these days........
 
Its all gravy now. All rebooked and hopefully some its going to be published... not sure when though.

I have now put a 4gb and 2gb card in the glove box and have a 4gb on my keys plus two 8gb with the camera and bag!

But all's well that end's well and you've learned a valuable lesson.
