The RNLI had a publicity photoshoot day a few weekends ago at Cullercoats in Tyne and Wear. I was lucky enough to be wandering by when the SAR Sea King from RAF Boulmer called in and parked up for an hour or so.

Kev Mills should be able to put a name to the face of the 'dope on the rope!'

Think you might have had the shutter speed a bit fast for those helicopter shots! Still you did well to get that detail against a bright sky.

Yeah I thought so when I looked back on it. I was looking at some of the aircraft shots and those boys have got it down to a fine art with slower shutter speeds and good panning!

Yeah i think a slower shutter speed might of been better for the rotars, good pic tho !
