hello, this is my first year to airbourne with my dslr and wanted to know whats the best way to attempt some good photos from it.
what settings and mode would be best?
what sort of shutters speeds?
should i handhold or use a tripod?
i have a 55-200 and a 75 -300 which 1 should i use and should i use the lens hood on it?
also should i use a filter and which type?
thanks all,chris.

Not really done mush with aircraft in flight but this is my tuppence worth:

- Work with whatever mode you are comfortable with, it's best to have the 'new thing' being shooting aircraft - only one thing to worry about rather than settigns as well.
- If it's moving aircraft then you'll want to hand-hold as you may find a tripod restrictive, a monopod may be useful though.
- Take both lenses, it'll depend on your positioning relative to what you're shooting, hoods will be beneficial too.
- can't really help with the filter query.

Hope you have a great time and some equally great shots.
