Good to see the 380 back at GLA. Wonderful contrast. Nothing quite gets you prepared for seeing a 380 for the 1st time, the size is astounding, its the height of the tail that gets me, seeing it even next to a baby bus 320 it's just so vast

Quite sobering the vast size of the A380 and the numbers Emirates operates, especially when you track the flights from UK airports to Abu Dhabi, there is a long line of A380s tracking over the continent at any one time....
I often fly from LHR to Hamburg on one of BAs A320/A321 and gaze up at one of these leviathans. I have flown in G-XLEA (in Club) - lovely aircraft.

Great to see, and to see it back at Glasgow.
When we have the easterly winds that we have currently, it flies low over our house most days. I photographed it today but not looked at them yet.
It's suprisingly quiet on approach, the smaller A320s etc that go over, are noisier, IMO.
