Airbus A380 and some BUFFS

Living within walking distance of the Airbus factory at Filton Bristol, you get lucky sometimes with some sights and sounds that you don't often get to see at any run of the mill airfield.

I've not really had much opportunity to do much aircraft photography, however yesterday saw a visit from an Airbus A380 for a planned night stop over after touring the UK during the day.

Loaded up with my week old D90 and hoping for clear skies these are the results. Clearly the sky was a "grey out"(?) and not particularly great for taking pictures of things in the air...

I'd appreciate any feedback and comments or suggestions...

First up a C-130J was doing circuits along with a C-130K practicing low level drops on the airfield...

Where are the BUFFs Rich? Otherwise, good shots given the uninspiring sky!

I don't know about Cheesy, but I was expecting to see B52's.

What Lens were you using ?

Hmm perhaps I ment Fat Albert? God I'm such a noob!

The shots were taken using a 70-300 Sigma lens...

Those came from the Broughton air show then?

The A380 did, the Hercules were doing circuits pretty much for most of the day.
