Alamy Failure

I've just sent my initial 4 images off to Alamy for QC & on checking that they've all failed. According to the website I'll get an e-mail explaining why. For those who've already suffered that pain :'( any idea how long it is before I receive anything from them

Have you logged into your Alamy account and looked there? In "My Alamay" and then "Track Submissions", you will see the Quality Control result. Click on this link and it will explain why a particular image failed.

It may be only one that has failed, but they will reject all four until you sort the issue out and then re-submit all four for QC again.

Thanks for that the table shows 4 in the failed column but still awaiting QC :thinking:
 
As stated above - log on to 'my Alamy' and the result should be there with an explanation as to why they've failed. Alamy are very particular but once you provess the image the way they want them it should be a breeze.
 
so how do you know they've failed? - sounds like they haven't been through QC yet

Hmmm...:thinking: There *should be* two columns to the right of the "Failed" column. One is "QC date" and the other is "Status". I guess these don't appear for you as yet? The "Status" field has a clickable link that explains the reason(s) for rejection.

I am a bit surprised they are showing as "Failed" and the explanation is not there. :shrug:

How long ago did you submit them?

I'm a bit confused too. The QC date is blank and the next column shows awaiting QC but the failed column has 4 in it.

They were submitted on Friday
 
Could you link to the images that you uploaded? Someone might be able to help out why you failed it, and I'd be quite interested as I'm thinking of doing this at some point soon as well!

If you only submitted on Friday that's quite a fast turnround given that last weekend was a holiday. Maybe email them tomorrow?

I submitted a few friday, they were sorted yesterday. I either submitter late thursday night (friday am) or late friday night (before midnight).
