Whats annoying is a with lot of those searches, I have photos on my HD that match quite well. There was one earlier for "chicken pecking" for example. I have loads of those on my HD!

It is actually quite interesting to see those searches. Some very random stuff appears sometimes.

What would be useful though - and I dont think they do it - is to see all the searches that have been done where there was no image found that matched. Now that would be very handy

That would be a very useful search! I suggested that to the library I have some of mine with as it seems pointless to always look for images people have found. You want to know what is missing. Would be fairly easy to implement a list of common searches that return few or zero images.

Indeed. But then again - if they did that there would be no gaps to fill I guess So the trick is to predict those things people might search for that are not there.

I sometiems put time aside to do random searches for things I might have used before in a former life as a designer and there are a few that come up with nothing or very few. That then goes on my 'to do' list.
