Yes
Had lots of rejections lately and of course if one image fails they all do, so today I'm just going to upload 1 image and see if it passes. But before I do can anyone who passes regularly tell me if they can see things in this image that look like it might fail?

at 800 pxl wide resolution its hard to see why it'd fail. But 800 pxl wide may hide a number of issues

of course if it passes, it could have just not been QC'ed then I'll never know ha ha

I can't see why it would fail! The only concern for me would be that I'm guessing the shot wasn't taken on your privately owned land? :D

If it was a zoo or something, they sometimes have 'no photography for commercial purposes' clauses in the entry thingies, might be something to think about ;)

how did you know it wasn't my garden?

They do have other shots from WHF on alamy so I can't see that being a problem

the next thing to expect mate is random rejections of images that are identical to the 4 you first posted that passed QC!! lol, at least thats whats been happening to me.

I've submitted many photos that are sharper and of a higher quality than my first 4 which have been rejected on the basis they lack definition, some of which I can see for why and others just seem random, so we'll see how this one comes back!

I've joined and although I only have 16 images uploaded I find there QC quite methodical. Basicaly I have had my high ISO images rejected, So Now I will only up load my sharp 100 or 200 ISO images,

According to my stats nobody has looked at my images even though I have searched from them to make sure it is possable to see them.

the first is much noisier and nowhere near the quality of 2, it;s also oversharpened MASSIVELY - yet this one passed - go figure :suspect:

Interesting, I reckon the first image is far more saleable as a stock image then the first as it has a nice clean background, perfect for copy.

It looks to me like they fail for a reason other than what they say?

yeah I think so too.

Could it be that the second shot also has the edge of the bath on the bottom of the frame. Though its much sharper than the first, its more of a familly shot than a stock sales photo.
Surely they reject stuff on more than just sharpness.

reason given was lack of definition/soft

They say in their terms they never reject anything based on content and a look on their site - is this one any better?
