Alamy reducing its commission.

Alamy has announced that from Feb 2019 it will cut its commission to photographers from 50% to 40%.

Does anyone contribute to this site or any other microstock agency?

Yep - I make quite a few thousand a year from them and it's a reasonable source of revenue. I am not thrilled.

In theory I am a contributor but in practice not really, since the current prices went in a few years ago. It makes a very bad situations just a little bit worse. Everything is still in the toilet in the stock market so either way they can stuff it. I even wrote a letter to them explaining all of that. I wonder why they didn't reply.
