Interesting:

My cat is probably my most frequent "subject", but I'd never thought of using B&W ever!

I really like the effect - thanks for the idea. Lovely pictures too.

Thanks all - I think #1 has become one of my favourite pictures of him :)
 
I think that all of us cat owners have more than enough photos of our (often sleeping!) models!

They work very well as mono shots but I would like to see the colour versions as well. Loving #1 but #2 is a bit "Venture" for my tastes (NB, that's MY tastes!!!)
