Just done a fact check this launch platform is at 1700 metres that’s nearly twice the height of snowdon ,no wonder we were above the clouds
 
What is the betting the price of a D500 will drop if Nikon release a Pro styled APSC camera next month? Wex put over 30 used D500s on their website a couple of months ago. I suspect they knew something and were getting rid of old stock.
 
The new to me D3s has proved itself very capable the past couple of days when I've been caught in the rain and the camera has had a bit of a soaking.
I wouldn't have wanted to put my Z6 through that kind of a drenching, but the D3s worked a charm. I should start carrying a towel in the car if the weather is going to continue like this.
