Almost the nightmare scenario!

I was doing a wedding today at the Lodge on Loch Lomond, a lovely hotel on the banks of the loch. I was really looking forward to it, despite the weather being rather changeable today!

I was on my way up, coming through Dumbarton. I was sitting at roadworks when the next thing, BANG! A car flies into the back of me at a fair speed! All my gear is in the boot of the car, as well as a framed photograph I'd picked up from Loxley on the road up!

Thankfully I and my gear were alright, as was the young girl driving the car that hit me! I suspect I'll have a sore neck in the morning, but I'm glad I was wearing my seatbelt, as without it, I'd have had a sore one from the windscreen!

Despite the weather, the wedding went well and I got some really good shots!

Can't help thinking though, if the crash had seriously damaged me, the car or my equipment, it would have been a disaster!

Sounds like you've had quite a day! Glad you're alright mate and that all went well at the wedding. Well done for shrugging it off and getting on with the job

I didn't mention in the original post that it was the wifes car, so I had to phone her and tell her as well! :shake:
