Alternative focusing screens

Has anyone using Nikon, in particular the D7000 tried using an alternative focusing screen such as Katseye.If so what sort of results where found.:cool:
 
I'm thinking of getting a Katzeye for my D7000, as an aid to manual focussing.
I just e-mailed them asking if there is any-one in the UK who will fit it, as I don't have the most delicate fingers !!
If I get a reply, I'll post on here.
 
That's why I am looking at an alternative screen. I am finding manual focus difficult with some of the G lenses, they are to sensitive.I am looking at the split screen.:)

I don't know about changing a Nikon focussing screen but I changed the one in my 1Ds Mkii for a gridded one (I seem to be naturally skewed!) and whilst the instructions made it sound like a terrifying job in reality it was really easy.
