Hi,
I've just upgraded my kit/moved to digital; a 7D with an EF 24-70 2.8, Tokina 12-24 DX (and probably an EF 70-200 f4 IS on the way) and my beloved CCS Hippo just isn't big enough
(although I'll keep it for using when I only take one lens out).
I've bought an Urban Disguise 30 to carry the new kit and I'm pretty pleased with it but I'd like to check the other options in the market before I commit and take the tags off it. I'm trying to keep this bag as compact as possible.
I really like the small features and feel of the UD30, probably the only criticisms would be the way the AW cover seems to fit so the shoulder strap would pop it off easily (unless I'm missing something?), lack of attachment points for additional pouches and the zip top (I'm using it as a top loader & would prefer a flap, but this I can live with).
I'll probably invest in a separate small day pack for trekking/wildlife stuff if needed so no need for loads of space for non photo stuff.
I'd be really grateful for any ideas or suggestions as to good alternatives.
it will be used for:
Carrying in a larger non-photo rucksack as a carry on, when possible.
As a protective bag for my kit when out boat fishing.
General light camera bag for tourist stuff.
Cheers
Dave
