Amatuer Camera needed - £200 Budget

Hi all, I'm looking for a new camera for myself, especially because I'm going on holiday in May and I'm worried if I take my current camera I'll come back with a memory card full of poor quality photographs.

The camera will be used mainly for Holidaying and for taking shots of my cars, but I want a good all round camera. At work we have a Canon SX110IS which I think is brilliant, although a little chunky. Not something you'd want to carry around on holiday all day.

I'd appreciate any advise, due to the low amount of use the camera will ge tand the fact that I'm more of a point and shoot amateur photographer I'm not looking to spend a massive amount of money, ideally no more than £200 at the absolute maximum.

Nope, those are the requirements for even gaining access to that whole classifieds section now.

Indeed they are, waaaaaaaaaay too many complaints from people being messed about or ripped off by fly by nights who just signed up to sell.
