amazon lens description error?

Hi all. This lens is described as exclusively for dx. Yet the reviews state it being used with both full frame and cropped formats. Grays describe it in their fx section.

Cheers Scott. That's what I thought but needed to confirm prior to purchase. Dx to fx upgrade later in the year so need it to be compatible with both.

Amazon have got their knickers in a twist. The phrase "This 5.8x zoom, designed exclusively for use with Nikon's DX-format, features Nikon's VR image stabilization and is perfect for portraits and action." refers to the 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6 (which is DX, and has a 5.8x zoom range) rather than the 16-35mm f/4 (which isn't and doesn't).
