Ameture photographer - lens help!

Hello I have recently become fascinated by photography and took a black and white film class last semester. I want to further my film photograph as well as my digital photography.

Stumbling upon some used lenses in thrift stores, for half price I walked out with 2 lenses for $27. I believe that they are both film lenses and are old.

My concern is that they won't fit on my camera or I can't buy a mount for them. For them being under $15 a piece I thought it wouldn't be too much of a risk to try since I didn't have my film camera(s) on hand.

I have a canon DSLR rebel T3 and a canon 35 mm SLR film camera. I don't know what model the film camera is because I'm on vacation with my DSLR.

Somewhere I heard that canon only made two mount sizes, but after reading more on the Internet I am beginning to believe that is not true.

One lens was a canon so I knew I would purchase that one for sure and the other a vivitar I took more of a gamble on.

Canon do indeed have different lens mounts, 3 or 4 infact.

The very old one is fd, the the later ones are EF and EFS. Play there is the new m mount too.

Post some pictures up of the mounts if you can and people will tell you what the are.

It doesn't seem I can post pictures but I can email anyone if they think that could help determine if they will fit or could be attached to a mount! I will try and provide as much information as I can.

The Vivitar lens says AUTO VIVITAR TELE-ZOOM 85-205 mm 1:3.8 no. 22012283

The canon lens 52 (/) TOU/FIVE STAR MC AUTO MACRO ZOOM no. K8336458 1:4.5 75-200 mm

Upon further inspection in better light, the canon lens seems to have crud (doesn't look like scratches) inside the lens. Can that be fixed or cleaned off? I noticed screws but really don't know what I'm doing so I didn't touch it yet. I'm thinking of bring it in to one of my local camera stores to see what they could do if it is salvageable or if either could be mounted on my film or digital cameras.

If anyone can help me all input is greatly appreciated!!

Ps. I'm on my iPhone is there any way to post a picture besides a link?

Does the canon look like this lens above, then like the vivitar it's another FD mount

The canon looks exact. The visitor doesn't say close focus on it but other than that it looks the same. They are probably the same mount since I bought both at the same place. Probably donated by the same person which makes my find worth while! THANK YOU!
