I'm a bit lost when it comes to AI if I'm honest. I understand the likes of Chat GBT, but when it comes to insane animations like this ... couldn't they do this already using CGI? I guess it would take a lot longer? But I don't 'get' how they do this?

I think the difference is that with CGI the maker has to do the creating themselves. with AI they can ask the ai to do it all. I might be being very unfair to them since I don't really know.
