I've been doing quite a bit of welding glass photography with my 5DII. Long exposures and specific settings. ISO of about 800, exposure of 1 minute, custom WB, Bulb setting - you get the drift.
Every time I take one of these shots I have to manually set all the parameters, take the shot and then unset the parameters.
The 5D has three custom setting positions - C1, C2 & C3. is it possible to programme one of these with my chosen settings that I can simply turn to when needed? Also, if I can, will custom WB be permanent, or will it change if I change the "normal" custom WB for something other than welding glass?
I've read the manual, but that's about as much help as a chocolate teapot. Has anyone here ever used the custom settings, and if so can I do what I want to do?
(Assuming you understand what I'm trying to say. My wife says I'm very trying!!!)
