A question for all you SEO experts... I seem to think there's a couple on here.
I am about to start building a website for myself, which will be image led (obviously) using a slideshow in javascript for the main 'body'. Details for each image (file location, description, etc) are stored in an array within the head of the page. What I wanted to know is, will Google read this information, and will it be enough from an SEO point of view, or will I need to have some actual text on the page.
The descriptions will show for each image on mouseover, and I am thinking of using descriptions like "The marriage of xxxx and xxxx by xxxx based wedding photograher xxxx", etc. So if there's 20 images in the slideshow, there could be quite a bit of text... it just won't be showing all the time like a standard html page.
