This An Sgurr on the Isle of Eigg off the west coast of Scotland. I haven't really done it justice here as its an imposing presence on a smallish island. This was however taken from a moving bus driven by a lad called Ewen who I'm sure could not have been old enough to actually have a licence.
Narrow roads, old bus driven quickly by a youth.....:eek:

Yes, annoyingly as we left the island the sky got really interesting just above the rock and it would have looked like the scene from Close Encounters but by this time I was trying to hold onto my lunch and had no interest at all in photography.
From some angles it does look like the head of an ancient beast, wonderful place.

Very nice! Nothing like a touch of geology to help anchor things! Well captured, and glad your driver got you there and back again, so to speak.
