Android GPS??

I know we have a few android people on the forum.

I've managed to get myself an in car charger and holder for my G1 android phone.

Now normally I just turn on GPS and use googlemaps through 3G, but I've heard rumours of proper GPS systems for the phone with voice options.

Does anyone know if its true and if so, what is it called/where can I get it from?

I'm assuming you have internet on your plan, as I do? Just go to the App store and search for google maps. That has free turn by turn sat nav, and walking sat nav. Theres also another, forgot what its called, but its designed for walking directions. It gives you a real live view thru the camera of the *** ahead, and uses virtual arrows to guide you. Its pretty cool, not had chance to try it properly yet though.
 
There is one dedicated satnav that works on Android phones, its called Co Pilot. If you do UK maps only its £25 to buy it.
