Has anyone else got an android phone? What are your thoughts? Mine turned up today (Motorolla Dext) and first impressions are very positive.

Do you know of any apps for uploading and using flickr outside of the web browser in the same way as a facebook type apps? What other apps are worth a look at?

I've got the T-Mobile Pulse.

Nice phone, with great features. Battery life is more than fine (depending on what you're doing - how much web browsing, video playing, GPS or WiFi you're using).

Hi,

I picked up a HTC Hero a couple of days ago.
More than impressed with it.

A couple of 'non photography related' apps

Tune Wiki - great media player
Shazam - lets you identify music by the phone hearing it.
Google Maps
Google Listen - for podcasts

I've also moved to Google apps for my email and calendar. Integrates really well with the phone and means I can get my email pushed to me any time!
 
Got a iPhone 3GS at the moment but i'm eagerly waiting for the Motorola Droid to come out in the UK then I'll probably make the switch. I love me some google
