Android Phone Sync with Apple Mac

Not sure if this is in the right section so line me up and stone me if its not.

I currently have a Mac mini, iPad and iPhone, but am looking to upgrade my phone. Does anybody know if you can sync an android phone with an apple mac and iPad? and if so, how easy is it, or is it a real pain in the unmentionables?

Anyone with knowledge on this, please help!
