Took a trip over to the Angel Of The North last night.

More as a little scouting mission for some star trails I'm planning but it was a lovely clear night so took the opportunity for some light painting.

Cheers David - Yeah, I had to bump it up to allow for just 30 seconds and minimal movement in the stars. Glad you like it mate

I don't think it would be as good if the sky was darker tbh Danny. It's a great trick to use and something i am yet to employ.

Works a treat mate - doesn't hurt to brush a bit of clarity onto the sky in PP either

Nothing flash (excuse the pun) - just a five quid torch from B&Q, worked a treat.

It was weird light painting it because of it's size and the fact that it's seen something ridiculous like five times a second from the A1 motorway. I can only imagine what all of those drivers thought
