Love the framing of No2. How did you do that, and which software, I am using Paintshop Pro XI.

I guess you can do this in most image apps by;
  1. add a small, white, 1px border to the canvas
  2. add a 20px, black border to the canvas
That should do it...
 
Did it with photoshop and just used a new layer and a clipping path with a small amount of feather.

I think he is referring to the projection of the image outside the border John?
 
Vibrant colours and like how there is a sense of scale with the included crowds, I've not appreciated the size of that thing.
 
Nice OOB in #2. Good compositions all, just a shame about the people (although they do add scale, I know). (y)
 
I think image 3 is the best, the contrast is very nice as the shadow in the ribbing gives a sense of depth and I also like the people in it....not a fan of images poking out of frames though :)
 
I like that second one. Sitll no to sure about the wing tip sticking out. But I like the angle they have been shot at, different.
