Annoying mouse jumping in CS4

Does anyone else have a problem with the mouse randomly jumping around the screen when you use the transform tool in CS4? I have looked around the web and cant find a definitive fix for it and its driving me up the wall. It makes working in CS4 painful and I am very tempted to revert back to CS3... anyone know anything about this?

I`ve had the problem when dragging one image on top of another, the only way to get rid of it seems to be to come out and re-load the program, but it can be a bit of a pain in the rear.
Forgot to add on mine it only happens very occasionally.

I have the same problem with most software, turns out the mouse doesn't like the black and white mousemat, it gets confused when I move from black to white, could that be your problem?
