Hi,

Any one know what this is? It did not appear in the frame before or after. I have never seen anything like it in any photo I have taken before.

Camera and lens were in the shade (bird hide), I'm assuming it is a reflection from something but no idea what.

No editing other than resize.

Any suggestions / thoughts ?

What's that below the bird ?

Do you think that bird may have been wearing contact lenses and the sun reflected off of them?

The bird is looking at it too! haha. It could just be a reflection or perhaps for some reason the sensor couldn't capture the data?

It's not in further images taken after this one? Did you have a lens hood on?

Phlegm?

Lets just admit it.... It's a fairy!

You weren't using a UV or "protective" filter were you?

Some good answers :)

No filter, lens hood on, lens & camera inside a bird hide in the shade, lens pointing away from Sun. Was using a 1.4x TC.

Perhaps johnM100 is right something passing only a few feet in front of the lens, such as hoverflies/insects and being way OOF caught the light.
