Another bag question...D7000 + Laptop + Stuff

I'm going to be travelling quite a bit over the coming year. Europe mainly but with some trips to Korea and China possibly.

I just got a new Dell Inspiron 14" thingy laptop. I got a backpack with it, but after one trip one of the straps looks to be goosed.

So, I need a bag that can carry

14" Laptop + Charger
D7000
A N Other Lens
Gloves, hat, maybe a bottle of water and some food too (decent space). Kindle, iphone charger, a magazine.

I'll be taking it as hand luggage so it needs to be small enough for internal flights.

Cost isn't so important and I'd prefer a backpack type.

How much would you want to spend on the bag?...

I recently picked up a lowepro ProRunner AW300 and that bag has tons of room for tripods , laptops , and more!
I paid £50 for mine because it was last years colour.
Looks better than the new colour I must say!

You can't go wrong with lowepro either lovely padding , and compartments hidden everywhere , great for travelling and carrying belonging's too
 
Kata 466i or 467i are worth a look. I take mine as hand luggage everytime I go on holiday.
 
I carry a similar amount of things in my Compudaypack by Lowepro, the laptop part can be used for a laptop or i find myself putting bottles in there when i haven't got my laptop with me. If you are carrying a laptop though you'll probably be limited to 500ml sized bottles in the back/main compartment :)

I've got a Lowepro 400aw flipside... Might be a bit big for you but the interior is removeable/changeable for lenses and other bits n bobs. Has a spacious outside bag. Clips around the waist so you rotate it balanced on your waist and opens in the back (for the more expensive stuff). Might be worth a look?

Feels well built and has been with me to France n Scotland on flights (France requested I take out all my lenses. All of them. Scotland/Bham just swabbed the bag with the sniffer device) Fitted on the overhead on the medium plane and under the seat on the small plane.

Dunno if that helps, but got it from Jessops at around 70ukp ish (might be 80).
 
As I've said on other threads, I have done the exact thing you're talking about. I traveleld to China/Vietnam/Thailand 9 times int he past 14 months, plus 2 trips home to the US, plus a bunch around EU. I carry a gripped D90, a set of a couple lenses (35/50/18-55/55-200/300f4) plus a flash (some combination of sb400/sb600/Jessops) and all of the ancillary gear like chargers, USB cable, lens cleaner, etc. That all fits in the bottom 'camera' portion. I take a laptop in the laptop section, plus a thin folder with my travel documents. In th top set I carry headphones (earbuds), ipad and/or kindle, deck of cards, tissues, etc. If I am on the long flights to far east I'll have a change of under clothes so I can shower in Dubai. If there is anything else I want to take I usually can in the top part of the bag. I also use this bag as my daily carry to work bag (I always have my camera with me).

I use a lowepro fastpack 300 (the biggest one). Comfy straps for travel, plenty of space, good quality bag. I'd get another if this one wears out, but I don't see that happening any time soon.
