I am so pleased with my 35 and 85 I would like another but I don't know whether to go for the 24 or just get a 16-35. Yes its got 2 stops more but its too wide to get much in the way of narrow dof so its really down to image quality. Is there much difference? Has anyone used both?

On a slightly different note is there much point me getting a 50 1.2. I don't think so really with 35 and 85 but if you disagree, why?

And then there's the 135......

I guess it really depends what you want it for?
I've got the 24L and the slightly older than 16-35L the 17-35L. I use the 24L for landscapes as I'm not obsessive about ultra-wide and have a TS-E that can give me panoramas if needed (or the filterless 14L). In my opinion, the 24L isn't as exciting as the 35L or 85L whilst the 135L is at the top of its game (if that focal length is needed).
As for the 50L.....damn good lens but overshadowed by the 85L. With 35mm and 85mm covered then the 50L is a luxury and a gap that can be filled later.

Mostly for weddings and portraits really. I would like something wider for some indoor shots and when I change to all ff a 135 might be useful for candids. At the moment the 85 is stuck on my 50d making it similar to a 135 on ff but I have got the 100 is macro so although the bokeh and focusing is better on the 135 I don't think its at the top of my list.
 
Another vote for the 135mm F2L. It is a wonderful portrait lens on FF. Perfect accompaniment to 35L + 85L. Hang on to the macro for the rings etc but the 135 is a portrait monster.
 
16-35mm gets the vote from me, the 24 is good but how often over the 35 will you use it? i put my 35 on a crop sensor to get closer to the 50 and it works a treat. the same goes for the 85 on a crop too, the added length would make the 135 redundant imo. so it would be better to get a crop body if you dont already have it.

I have a crop body, a 50d but the image quality an noise handling of the 5d is much better. However I would like a 5d2 and then if needs be I could have and 8mp crop which would still make the 85 a 135 equivalent. I think the part about the 35 makes sense and is kind of how I've been thinking
