It ne'r rains but it pours etc :shake:
With my main desktop out of action (see the poorly pc thread) , I've just dug out our spare laptop - A toshiba equium A200 only to find that it doesnt recognise its cd/dvd drive anymore Grr
The drive is still functioning and you can hear it spinning normally but its not coming up as a mapped drive on the 'my computer' - ho and indeed hum. This makes installing software something of a challenge
Any thoughts ?
(fortunately I do have my work laptop too - which is what i'm writing this on, but i'm not an administrator on that so i can't install photoshop etc)
