Another Forth Bridge

Another visit to the bridge, this time using the 24-70 rather than the 14-24.The water wasn't as still and had a wave until around 7.30pm but then started to smooth out.

Yeah i was messing around with WB whilst i was there to see what i liked and didnt like.This gave several different colours so did a few at that and changed WB again.

My last shot from the Forth Bridge, a longer exposure using the Progrey 10 stop filter. This was before the bridge lights were on but i quite liked the darkness of the bridge against the bright sunset.

That's a really nice shot Mark, good composition and nice reflections. I really like all the various colours with some light still in the sky.

Really like the one with the lights off. It is interesting enough in silhouette and still instantly recognisable.

Cheers Simon, i think thats what i like as well, the shape of the reflection from the main part of the bridge helps to add interest in the lower part of the image as well.

Another winner, well composed to get the supports of the Road bridge in and hide the construction work on the new bridge. The sky and reflection are just superb! There really is nothing to critique here, but in the interests of offering something, perhaps a slight crop off the top so that the rail bridge enters the shot bang in the corner?

Thanks, I had it as you sugest at first but changed it as i fealt the highest part of the bridge was then to close to the top. Would have been nice to have the height and it in the corner though

Both good, but the richness & depth of colour in the 2nd is very appealing.
