Falling With Style invited me along to their EP launch gig after a successful appearence at Download last weekend. Really happy with what I got.

Recently upgraded to a Canon 650D from an 1100D. I use a Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 and a Canon 50mm f/1.8 at present.

Potentially getting a Sigma 35 f/1.4 soon though.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback though.

So no flash and using the lens wide open? What isos n shutter speed we talking? :)
 
No flash normally. A lot of the bands I photograph are playing in small venues so I have to be prepared to bump the ISO upto 6400 (12800 rarely). Normally shooting at least 1/80th but aim to get around 1/100th or 1/125th.

I'll use flash if needed for crowd shots though.
 
Great stuff again.Commented on your last set and you gave me some advice as I was going to have a go at this.

Just to update this thread I actually won the Under 18s NME Photography Award 2013 for the When We Were Wolves photograph.
