Evenin' all,

Ignoring all of the hype and stuff regarding iPhones/iPads/iPods, I have a quick question...

I've been considering buying the new iPhone 4 when it comes out and currently have an iPod Touch which gets a lot of use... If I decide to get the iPhone, how will it affect my current iTunes setup? Will I have to rebuy all of the apps I currently have or will I be able to reset my iPod Touch and give it to my daughter and then transfer everything onto the new phone?

If it's going to be a ball-ache to do everything, I may well end up going with Android (currently torn between an HTC Desire and the iPhone 4).

Please don't turn this into an Apple OS vs. Windows Mobile vs. Android argument... ;)

Many thanks in advance,
Si

Hi, you buy them with your apple account. So if/when you get your iPhone 4 you would sync that to the same apple account. It will then allow you to put them on your new 4.

I ordered mine today!!!

Thanks Eric,

I had this horrible idea that Apple would put some kind of 'barrier' up that'd make it more awkward than it would need to be. :)

I'm a happy camper now.
Cheers,
Si

it shouldn't affect itunes or the apps at all, basically the iPod touch is an iPhone without the phone part (someone quote me if I'm wrong)

Your right Rob, I have apps on my iPhone 3G which my daughter has some of on her iTouch 2nd Gen.
