Well took the plunge and bought myself a shiny new Canon 450d w/kit lens, nifty fifty, 2nd user 75-300 Mk3 and a rather sturdy Redsnapper tripod. Step up from the IXUS SD850is, I am off to Costa Rica next year and wanted a DSLR to accompany the trip.

Am looking forward to learning from some venerable expertise on here...
