Beginner Another newbies first attempt with oil and water.

As per title these are my first attempts with oil and water, i too used m&m's for the background and a flash pointed towards the sweets under the bowl. I found it took some experimenting to get these but i am reasonably happy with them.

Thanks for looking and any tips for my next attempt would be greatly received.

Thanks Mandy, i must have taken about 50 or so shots before i found the right combination of settings for camera and flash for the last few which came out ok, i.e. these

The little bubbles on the top of pic #1 looks like smarties

Great selection of shots, nicely captured.

Very nice and inspiring..... I 've used marbling inks, but not oil and water ... I must give it a try
