Nice shot, hard to get these now, they were plentiful when farmers had different crop rotation without so much winter cereal. The place I found a lot were nesting at gas pumping stations as they were laid with pebbles etc and were ideal conditions.

You are correct, I was stalking this chap and got a few static shots but when it decided to fly the bugger went the wrong way..
