I liek this lee, your eye is lead nicely to the lighthouse. It is a shame the top of the lighthouse is in cloud resulting in a little loss of clarity.

Personaly, I prefered the earlier pic... Whilst this one is well composed and sharper than any of my current offerings, it looks a bit un-interesting. I suppose its the overcast lighting and flat calm sea which leaves me a little underwhelmed. A bit of life to the sea, or a hint of shaddows and it could be so much better.

In my opinion you have done very well with this picture of our Tynemouth lighthouse(I'm a Tynesider)

A well balanced composition and a little abstract to my eyes as well as an excellent land/seascape.

You obviously did not rush this one and spent some time getting the composition right.

I'll give you three thumbs ups for this
