Hi guys, hope you can help me out! I'm after an external monitor for my room at uni next year, my requirements aren't particularly high, but I'm hoping you can help me out!

Basically, I'm after the cheapest monitor I can find, with an HDMI connection, standard monitor connection, and reasonable picture. Are HDMI ports common on monitors yet, of would I have to go for a fairly top-end one?

I'm not hugely fussy when it comes to picture quality, I'll be doing a fair bit of photo stuff on it, but it'll also be used for hooking up to my PS3 (hence the HDMI).

As for size, I'm only after something around the 19-20 inch mark. And crucially, as cheap as possible! I hope you guys know of something that fits the bill! Regards,

Chris

Well that's the thing, no set budget, as I don't currently have the cash, more of a case of needing to know how much I need to save up!

I'm not expecting anything mind-blowing, the only alternative would be to use my laptop screen and an old 23" TV for the PS3 with the 3 phono plug connection (no HD gaming :( )..... So ideally anything better than that!

Ballpark figure, around £200, if I could get something half decent for less than that I'd be more than happy!

You should be able to get a Samsung T220 for less than £200 delivered.
