Another which bag. Gripped camera, bag like top-loader-zoom

I really liked the top-loader-zoom 2 from Lowepro. It takes my camera well, with a 300mm lens, plus has room for sundries.
Unfortunately, it just isn't quite wide enough now that I am used to using a gripped camera. (Won't even take the body without a lens on now).

A plus on the bag, although it looks like a camera bag, it is discrete enough to take to a restaurant, or walking all day through a foreign town. I already have back-packs for when I need more lenses, or more exertion.

So what are the best alternatives.

Needs to be able to take 7d gripped,
Shoulder strap, to hang at around hip/waist height,
top loading, so can be left open with camera 'in pouch' whilst I fiddle

Lenses I usually use would be 70-300mm on its own
or 17-55 (2.8 IS so wider/longer version)+28-135, one on camera, one in bag

Often keep several cards and filters in pocket, perhaps with 50mm 1.8 prime as well.

I had the same trouble this week, I wanted the smallest bag I could find for my gripped D300. Tried out every bag in jessops and the london camera exchange had to settle for a Hama rexton 200 http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=0S806WNE676FHK56VP83 as the grip just wouldn't go in any other bag.

I took most of the padding deviders out and it fits on it's side with a zoom lens attached and has enough room for a prime in there as well.

The toploader 75 will take either a gripped D300 or D3 with a mounted 70-200VR (with lens hood reversed). You can also slide an SB800 in the side pocket and a spare battery /memory cards in the top pocket. My most used bag.

I still only have 1 bag lowpro slingshot 100, I can fit my 70-300 and a 24-70 mounted with lens hood reversed on my 550D which also has a battery grip attached. In the top I also have my 430 ex11 and note pad. I am not a slim person so can ware the bag in the traditional way over the shoulder or (yes I do wind the strap in) around my waist like a bum bag. works well both ways. I only want 1 more lens 10-20/22 ish so for comfort I might change up to the 202 bag

Thanks for all of the replies. I went into another Jessops at the weekend, and left thinking there would be nothing suitable, but these have given me several to think about.

Try the LCE, their prices on bags/tripods/so on are pretty much comparable to amazon and I found that our small one may have only had a couple of brands they had every one in the range on display.
