Anthony H Wilson R.I.P.

I spoke to him once at a music seminar, and thanked him personally for the music.

I went through phases of liking him and not liking him on TV, but I have to say thanks again for the music he helped bring to the world.

Like John Peel, a person who had a huge effect on the music of this country has passed away.

He did wonders for the Manchester music scene.
 
When I was a student at Manchester, the Hacienda was one of my haunts. He will be missed. The piece about him on Newsnight tonight was excellent - all the guests would have called him a **** if they were allowed to, but they all loved him too. Top Man.
 
He seemed to be a genuine music fan, with a strong head for business. The exposure of a lot of very influential British music can be accredited to this guy. R.I.P dude :(.
