Anti-shake CCD v Optical

I fancy the Ricoh R8 at the moment, but it has CCD anti shake.
Is the difference between optical and CCD anti-shake quality large enough to pass this camera over?
Apart from this issue, I quite like the look of the R8.

i dont think you would notice on this level of camera.
