Hello all

As above really...I played a bit with my old faithful today for the first time in months and I am so rusted with her...I can't seem to find a way to set her to shoot in B&W...is she even capable of it?

Would love to hear from you guys...

Damn and blast but thanks for your response...was curious as to whether I lost it when I could not find the settings earlier today...too much time with the 5D I suppose...

Thanks again for the response!

Still a great camera though... Upped mine for a 5d3. Technically a much better camera (and comparative lightweight) but still miss the old thing.

No longer have mine.

Just shoot in colour though and take care of your own mono conversions.

Mono pre sets rely on contrasting scenes and (if it just isn't there) can leave you feeling a bit grey - You can do so much with darkening greens / lightening blues etc to create contrasting mono images if the different colours are there to work with in the first place.

Cheers Dinners!

I rarely use mine but I am so darn sentimental over the old girl...she is not the ideal available light camera any more but with some careful exposing and post-processing I do believe the images are still quite respectable...

I was also stuck with CS2 for quite some time but must admit I really do enjoy the latest CC version of PS.

OK, i have this camera 1DsII but i don't use it at all, it was my top choice camera in the past, but i was lucky to have money to buy more many bodies after it, so it became out of service or use since that.

When i was using this camera it delivers me high quality nice results, i was happy with it, even if i use it nowadays i will be happy with it, so what do you want to know about it or what is your problem with it?

I have opened an owners' thread in this same sub-forum...please pitch in there where I hope, in the next day or so, to post some examples of post-processing issues.

Also, please feel free to post absolutely anything and everything you feel is 1Ds Mk II related and interesting...

Cheers!

Ok, i can do that, but i need time to look at my old archives and find those 1Ds2 images and i will try to discuss about the post-processing when possible too
